Why Shops & Enthusiasts Choose Boost Lab, Inc.
Not all injector services are equal. Here's what sets our process apart.
Before & After Flow Data
Many shops only test after cleaning. We capture a full baseline first, so you can see exactly what was wrong and how much we improved each injector.
Carbon Zapp GDI: Regional Exclusive
We're one of the only facilities in the region with Carbon Zapp GDI equipment. Most shops test GDI injectors at the wrong pressure , we don't.
Marine Specialists
Dozens of Florida boat dealers and marine shops trust us exclusively. We service outboard, inboard, Yamaha HPDI, and Optimax air injectors.
Fast, Efficient Processing
We process jobs in the order received and work efficiently to get your injectors back to you. You'll get real-time status updates through your customer portal every step of the way.
Performance Guarantee
If we can't restore your injector to like-new performance, you don't pay for service on that injector. Period.
Permanent Digital Records
Your test results live in your customer portal forever, always accessible for tuning reference, future service comparisons, or documentation.
Professional-Grade ASNU Flow Bench Equipment
We use ASNU fuel injector flow benches, the gold standard in professional injector service. These precision instruments deliver accurate, repeatable testing that reveals the true performance condition of your injectors before and after every service.
We don't cut corners on equipment or process. Every injector receives the same meticulous attention whether it's destined for a daily driver, a marine engine, or a high-horsepower build.
ASNU Testing Capabilities
- Precise flow rate measurement (cc/min)
- Spray pattern analysis and verification
- Static and dynamic leak testing under pressure
- Electrical resistance and current draw testing
- Before & after documentation for every injector
- Ohm testing for coil health
Carbon Zapp GDI Technology: Direct Injection Done Right
We are one of the only facilities in the region equipped with Carbon Zapp GDI injector testing and cleaning equipment. This advanced technology is specifically designed for modern gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines, including vehicles like BMW, Audi, VW, Ford EcoBoost, GM LTG, and many others that use high-pressure direct injection.
GDI injectors operate at dramatically higher pressures than port injection systems and are highly prone to carbon buildup. Standard injector benches cannot properly test or service these injectors. Most shops test GDI at port-injection pressures, which hides real problems. We test at actual operating pressure, so the results mean something.
Carbon Zapp GDI Capabilities
- High-pressure testing up to 300 Bar (4,350 PSI), required for accurate GDI diagnostics
- Tests both standard coil-type and latest Piezo GDI injectors
- 8 distinct test protocols: electrical, dynamic flow, leak, spray pattern, and more
- Piezo stack regeneration for injectors stored long-term
- Specialized ultrasonic cleaning with back-flush function
- Compatible with Bosch, VDO, Denso, and Magneti Marelli GDI systems
Our 11-Step Ultrasonic Cleaning Process
Every injector goes through this full process. No shortcuts,, no skipped steps.
Your Test Results: Permanently Stored, Always Accessible
Your complete test data is permanently stored in your customer portal. No lost paperwork, no faded printouts, no calling to ask what we found. Access your full injector service history from any device, at any time.
Tuners love this , you'll have accurate, documented flow data to hand off directly rather than relying on manufacturer specs. Return customers can compare current results against previous service data to track injector health over time.
Service Pricing
All prices include new o-rings, filter baskets, pintle caps, and complete before & after test documentation.

Florida Marine Specialists: Outboard & Inboard Injectors
Dozens of Florida boat dealers and marine shops trust us exclusively with their injector service. Salt air, ethanol fuel, and marine operating conditions foul injectors faster than most automotive applications, and many general shops aren't equipped to service them properly.
If your boat isn't reaching full RPM, is running rough, or feels sluggish on the water, dirty injectors are often the cause. Our service is a fraction of the replacement cost, and we back it with a performance guarantee.
If we can't restore your injector to like-new performance, you don't pay for service on that injector.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does professional ultrasonic fuel injector cleaning work?
Ultrasonic cleaning uses high-frequency sound waves transmitted through a cleaning solution to create microscopic bubbles that implode on the injector surface. This process, called cavitation, dislodges carbon deposits, varnish, and debris from internal passages that chemical cleaners can't reach. Combined with pulsed operation and high-pressure back-flushing, it thoroughly cleans the injector from the inside out.
How often should fuel injectors be cleaned?
For daily drivers, cleaning every 30,000-50,000 miles is a reasonable maintenance interval. High-performance, forced-induction, and marine applications benefit from more frequent service. If you're experiencing rough idle, misfires, hesitation, or reduced fuel economy, cleaning should be done promptly regardless of mileage. Vehicles using ethanol-blended fuels (E10/E15) or those that sit idle for long periods tend to see faster deposit buildup.
What is the difference between port injection and GDI (gasoline direct injection) cleaning?
Port injectors spray fuel into the intake manifold before the combustion chamber. GDI injectors spray fuel directly into the cylinder at very high pressures, typically 1,500 to 3,600 PSI at operating conditions. This difference means GDI injectors require specialized high-pressure test equipment to be properly diagnosed. Testing GDI injectors on standard port-injection benches produces inaccurate results and can miss real performance issues. Our Carbon Zapp equipment tests GDI injectors at up to 300 Bar (4,350 PSI), the only way to get accurate data.
Do you service marine and outboard fuel injectors?
Yes, marine injector service is one of our specialties. We service injectors from most gasoline outboard and inboard marine engines including Yamaha HPDI, Mercury Optimax (with air injectors), and standard port-injection outboards from Suzuki, Honda, Evinrude, and others. Many Florida boat dealers and marine shops send their injectors to us exclusively.
How do I ship my injectors to you?
Fill out our online repair form first. This enters your job into our system and ensures we have all your contact and injector information before your package arrives. Then ship via UPS or FedEx (we recommend avoiding USPS) to our facility in Dade City, FL. Include the injectors with their existing o-rings. No paper form needed inside the package. Your online submission handles everything. You'll receive real-time status updates through your customer portal as your job moves through the process.
Is professional cleaning worth it vs. buying replacement injectors?
In most cases, yes, especially for performance, marine, and OEM injectors that are no longer easy to source or are expensive to replace. Professional cleaning typically costs $20-$45 per injector compared to $80-$400+ each for quality replacements. We back our service with a performance guarantee: if we can't restore your injector to like-new performance, you don't pay for service on that injector.
Do you service diesel fuel injectors?
No. We specialize exclusively in gasoline fuel injectors: port injection, side feed,, side feed, GDI, Piezo GDI, marine outboard, and Yamaha HPDI. We do not service diesel common-rail or mechanical diesel injectors.
